Nobody can know the 2026 cut-off before TNPSC publishes it with the result, and any site that gives you one number is guessing. What we can show you is the last real one: the cut-offs TNPSC published for the 2022 Group 2/2A prelims, community by community, from the Commission’s own document.

What is different in 2026
- The 2026 notification (07/2026) is for 846 vacancies. Fewer posts for the same number of candidates usually means a higher cut-off; more posts, a lower one.
- The marking is +1.5 for a correct answer, nothing for a wrong one, and half a mark off once if any question is left blank.
- The prelims cut-off only decides who sits the Mains; the final selection comes from the Mains.
